After spent one month learning with one of the top UK Salsa instructors, I feel he has pushed my salsa to another level. (or not yet, but soon Grin)
He teaches us not only the intricate moves but also how to listen, understand and interpret the music. He also brought Mambo to HK, this is a evolution. I enjoyed every single of his lesson, can't wait for tonight's On1-Level 3 Shine.  Wink

Reviewing Alex as a student:
People told people and told me that I changed a lot on dancing! I can't tell by myself as I'm dancing everyday. Anyhow, whatever you can feel or see my changes in these 3 months on my dancing style, connections, following technique, body movement, and of course SHINES Grin are all from him. I hope these are good changes!! Or else I will "Guo Chii" you as mush as you did to me, Alex!!

Reviewing Alex as a dance partner:
Everytime when I dance with him, I can feel he is actually "dancing" with me...not pure leading me, or controlling me, or using me to practice on his moves. It is because he looks into my eyes while he's dancing, and he leads me in a way to dance to the music.

Reviewing Alex other than his student or dance partner:
"Guoooooo Chiiiiiii"!!!

It seems this Alex guy is not bad, unfortunately is a male. I'd love to find some good female dancers who can share our passion and look into my eyes while we are danicng.  Shocked

Jas, according to Alex ability I think he is able to handle a simple "Guoooo Chiiiiii", you are way too nice to him. I am thinking of design an exotic product for him, actually tailor made - "Breakfast pancake + Guoooo Chiiiiiii"    Grin

song, you can always give him a high-flying kick right in his face! that will always shake him up...

very good instructor especially when giving tips regarding matching body movements with musicality. he helped a lot in my HKSF performance...

Guys, good ideas. But right now I am too far away to use my body roll or flying kick. Jas, can you body roll him on behalf of me? We are good friends, ya!  Kiss
